Description
A long time ago, was toying with a different ending for the Water Tribe comic. Some doodles were made, but nothing felt quite right.
Here's a quick versions of the notes made, and the reasons why the idea was dropped.
It would have made for a more final ending, but it was hard to make it work (hard for me anyway- a better writer could have pulled it off).
Rough sketches made on a Cintiq- will be moved to scraps later.

Re-reading the comic after all these years. I had forgot about it for a while, thank goodness for going through my favorites!
It's great alternative, I can never get enough of Rufftoon's work. Also we had this in the meantime to wonder what happened to Zhao when Kozilla took him. Dead? To the Spirit World?
Then we got Legend of Korra, Season 2 and we finally saw what'd happened to him. I love this comic to bits either way. AUs/Different timelines are great!
