Zhao rocks, year-long contest, moar!

Happy New Year, Zhao club!! We're at 60,000+ pageviews, nearly 140 members, and 400+ watchers CRAZY!!! Well not *so* crazy considering the subject matter but you know XD

Anyways! With the new year comes some awesome contests! Inspired by Pretty-Angel's suggestion from the last journal: Seasonal Zhao Contest!

The object of the contest is to create the best image depicting a seasonal Zhao XD I think winter (in this hemisphere at least) is Dec-Feb? Right? so lets start with a winter Zhao theme! I don't imagine firebenders love winter as much (except for possibly log burning?)... anyways, not sure how many people will be interested in these but maybe if we have enough entries we can choose a few good ones from each round and make a calendar of it for 2009? Who knows?!?!

Entries can be drawn or painted or written or whatever you'd like, as usual! There are no restrictions, go ahead and be as ridiculous as you like, I think we sort of broke the original 'no slash' rule a while ago XD Winner will be decided based on originality/ effort/ concept, even if you don't consider yourself the greatest artist, you'll still have a great chance as long as we can see how much work you put in :3 The winner of the popular vote will get their deviation put up as the featured piece, and will have more consideration in the final decision. On the off chance that we do make a calendar or something, and you want to conform to the calendar image submitting standards, please check this out FAQ #698: How should I design and submit a calendar? for image size requirements.

Due date will be... Feb 20th! So you have plenty of time!

Prize will be some sort of sub or itunes credit or somesuch like that, to be amended as it is decided If you'd like to donate a prize please note to let us know! Also the contests are only open to members, if you'd like to participate but are not a member feel free to join at any time.

If you are a fan of Admiral Zhao from the Nickelodeon cartoon Avatar the Last Airbender, then this is the club for you! If you hate him and want him to fall into a wagon of poo like in Back to the Future, then this is also the place for you!
